Today you may notice a device worn on the back of an arm to check glucose levels that is connected to a phone. But life was very different for Bobbi’s daughter, Robin, and son, Jon, who were both diagnosed with type 1 diabetes(T1D) two years apart in the late 70s. A time when Bobbi made daily insulin injections in her infants arms and monitored their blood sugar through urine samples.
